Abstract

This study finds a lot of connections between crime, good government, and money going to the
government. It looks at some of the ways that how the government deals with crime and the people
who work for it can change how much money the government makes generally. Between 2005 and
2020, data from 96 countries is being put into three groups. The Worldwide Governance Indicators
(WGI), the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), and the World Development Index (WDI) are these.
To look at crime, the government, and the government's wealth, the D&K method and panel data
with a steady effect are used. There is a big difference between cheating and good governance.
Good governance saves the government a lot of money. If the government wants to get more tax
money and cut down on business theft, it needs to run things better.
